The return spring is designed to help lower the three point hitch when an implement is not installed on the tractor. Many John Deere 620 and 630 tractors are missing this spring and extension "S" hook due to breakage and lack of replacement parts. Our spring and optional "S" hook are an exact duplicate of the John Deere originals. (same size, shape, wire gauge, pull force, and temper).  It has taken us many months of design work, but we now offer the spring and optional hook that fit the John Deere 520, 530, 620, 630, 720, 730 tractors.  This set replaces the original John Deere Parts F2897R and A5606R (for 620 and 630).
