This hefty  Battery Box fits John Deere B (sn 201000-end), R, 80 (with Pony Motor & Regular Seat) .  It is an exact replacement of the original, which holds 2- 6volt batteries in a series connection, or roomy enough to accommodate a larger, high amperage 12 volt battery. Has rails installed for regular sliding seat. The metal frame of the box is stamped  "CENTER LINE" and has indentation for Work Light,  just like the original. Replaces John Deere Part #AB4101R & AB4101R  (Painter John Deere green) Made in Iowa.
