This gasket fits the Wico C-Magneto outer distributor cap. The gasket is not only designed to keep moisture and insects out, but also designed as a spacer so that the rotor fits the Magneto Outer distributor Cap correctly, preventing excessive wear on the rotor or cap. Since it is necessary for the correct fit, this gasket must be in place during cap replacment.
