The Load Metering Assembly is located in the center of the Marvel Schebler Duplex Carburetors, and is one of those things that once varnished up or plugged up cause all sorts of strange running symptoms either when under load or idling. To clean it is imposable unless removed, and that alone can ruin this assembly.
For the price Deere charges most folks just try and "Live with the problems".
